Come meet the Horses
Presley was born in 2005, he is a 15.3 hand Arabian Paint cross. He has been part of the family since he was 3 years old. He has competed at a national level in Dressage. Lately he has been giving beginner, intermediate, and advance lessons. He is a barn favorite that everyone loves to ride, due to his gentle and some what lazy personality.
Stella was born in 2009 and is a 15 hand Pinto Appaloosa Mare. She was rescued in 2018 from a bad situation. After months of recovery, she started training to become a lesson horse. Stella showed amazing progress and is now giving beginner, intermediate and advance lessons. Stella wins the hearts of everyone she meets because of her amazing color and sweet personality.
Kip was born in 2012 and is a purebred Haflinger pony. He was raised by the Amish before he came to Flatwoods in 2017. Although he is small he is built for just about any rider. He can be used for confident beginner riders as well as intermediate and advanced riders. Kip has a big personality and an even bigger stomach. He will be your best friend for a carrot.
Red was born in 2008 and is a 14.3 hand large grade pony. Red came to the barn in 2021 and has adjusted well to being a well rounded lesson pony. He has done great in shows and rodeos for beginner to advance riders.
Beach was born in 2016, he is a 17 hand off the track Thoroughbred. Beach joined the barn in 2021 and instantly showed us his big, loveable and goofy personality. He is now doing lessons and hunter/jumper shows for intermediate to advance riders.
Silver was born in 2007, she is a 16 hand off the track Thoroughbred. She came to the barn with her best friend Beach. She took some time to show us her personality but after some time, love and plenty of treats she showed us her sweet, strong and wanting to please personality. She loves to have a job and adores jumping as well as barrels. She is currently doing hunter/jumper shows and has shown in barrels for advance riders only.
Babe was born here at the barn in 2017 and is a Friesian Arab Cross. She has just been recently broke to ride for walk, trot, canter and has been introduced to small jumps. She has amazing movement and great bloodlines. She has a in your pocket puppy dog personality. She is also quirky and very sweet. She is very willing and could be used for beginners we are currently only using her for advance riders as she is still so inexperienced.
